Its 15th of March! Official first day of my holiday.
Haha after blogging, packed my stuffs and was getting ready to leave house to airport, I got nagged by mum and for not sleeping -___- can sleep on the plane right? Haha
Took cab down and Jj reached airport before sis and I do. While waiting for other 7b to come, we decided to check in first. Guess what? My sis booked the wrong date. -.- She mistook 15th of Mar and 15th of May. Looked like I can go for another trip to Malaysia in May XD
Well, wondered around Changi airport, looking for immediate tickets to Malaysia before other 7b arrived. So yea others arrived and luckily sis got the tickets. Had breakfast together, took some pictures and sis and I went in. Haha thanks Bro7hers for sending me off man.
Went in the airport and explored the things inside. It had been 8 years since I last took a plane and yea I was damn excited haha. Waited for the boarding for awhile and we boarded the plane. Haha still Im very excited.. The flight is about an hour to Kualar Lumpur so before I had enough fun, we landed -.-.
Collected our luggage, took a limbo taxi to our hotel and the taxi very big sia haha. Arrived at Tune hotel and saw alot of Singaporeans there.. After this holiday I can sort of know how to differentiate faces. The room is small but cozy so after slacked awhile in our hotel, we shopped at Time square and tried to look for the 'shoe bag' for some of the 7b but couldnt find that bloody shop. Haha sorry ar sebas. We had western dinner and went back hotel for supper and rested for the next day.
2nd day~
Woke up early cuz need to catch the plane to Gold coast, took the cab that we booked earlier on to the airport. Same routine, checked in and waited for boarding. When we were allowed the took the plane, we gotta walk to the plane as its budget airline ar. Its fun walking to the plane tho haha sis illegally took some pictures. The flight is 8 hours sia -___- eat,play daidee and eat and play again haha. Won my sis 10bucks! sweet XD
After we disembark the plane, it's already about evening time where almost every shops are closed. The feeling is great haha cuz the weather is cooling, about 18degrees and theres a hot ang mo right infront of me after I disembark the plane :D.
Our hotel is called Vegas. Reason maybe being theres a mini casino and a bar there bah. So after checked in hotel, we had a walk along Surfer Paradise beach. The beach there is also super duper ultra nice one sia.. Sg beach cannot compare ar really. After the walk, we had Mcdonalds! Haha cuz I curious about the difference so went to checked it out. The only similar burgers I saw is only big mac and cheeseburger, where else theres no mcspicy, foldovers. After explored around Sufer Paradise, took some pictures, had icecreams and head back to hotel to rest for 3rd day~!
3rd day!
This day very exciting cuz we going to DREAMWORLD! We had breakfast at Hungry Jack which is Sg's Burger King. My sis said its because conflict among the boss so they spilted? -___-
Dreamworld is like a mega themepark with rides, theres also animals around the whole place so kinda look like Zoo + Themepark.. Took some pictures with the animals like kangaroo, koala, goats and sheeps. Half way playing those crazy rides it rained so we took shelter in the arcade. I saw a ring at the counter which require certain number of tickets to exchange for it so I only play the basketball game for it ar. Sis said theres actually audience behind me when I play haha woohoo IMA STAR~ XD Well got that ring for someone and sis like it so gave it to her. After we tried almost every thrilliest rides, had giant hotdogs and decided to go home and have dinner! Had kebab for dinner, luckily da baoed ar.. If eat there sure kana laugh haha cuz about half of my fillings in kebab came out after I had my first bite.
4TH DAYThis day more exciting ar.. Guess what Im gonna do? IM DOING SKYDIVING BABY~! XD I'm in a very bad shape cuz I had blocked nose,blocked ear(from plane-___-), blocked throat(infection) except fever. I'll just describe it as BEST. What else can be compared to jumping down from 14,000 feet at about 10degree celsius man. After the jump, Im officially sicked and I had a fever. And yea thats me, the skydiver and the clouds! XD
Went to explore Byron Bay(Most eastern part of Aus), had their famous fish and chips there. And yea theres these 4 ladies waved and said hi to me.. Not my sis, yea just me.Haha how friendly right.. scally they never see asian yandao before haha. Jkjk~ Went back to hotel, had chinese food for lunch and Paul( Sis ex) came and drove us back to my Sis place at Brisbane. The ride is damn long, fell asleep not long after cuz sicked ar.
After washed up at Sis place, Paul drove us to the Caxton, Chargrill. We had to wait for our seats so meanwhile we went upstair for some drinks, haha Im actually got quite drunk before eating sia. Quite cool eh~ Upstair is really nice bar and down stair is a damn class and romantic restaurant. Its my first time going to such restaurants in Aus, so I expect given that kind of atmosphere, service and food, the price should be quite steep but its not sia. Their steaks is nice and HUGE and it cost about 25bucks! Well I cant taste much cuz my nose's blocked so after the dinner we went back and I headed straight for the bed.
5th day
Still sicked so better dont go out ar or else kana quarantine or kana killed cuz of spreading the virus. Had breakfast in a restaurant call Yaku Niku which is very near Sis's place. The restaurant auntie is a very friendly chinese while her jap husband is the chef. Yea their food is fusion of chi and jap food and I can say its good! My Sis had a cat call Paulene so the rest of the day I spent time disturbing her and watching Sis's dvd collection.
About evening time, we went to Paul house to stay over as we're leaving for Sydney the next morning and his house is nearer to the airport.
6th day
As USUAL checked in and waited to board the plane. It's about 10+am when we arrived at Sydney and it's too early for us to book in the hotel so we had breakfast at the airport before finding our hotel. The weather there quite warm ar.. Had donuts and funny things happened there make us laugh like morons. We took the train to the nearest station to our hotel and use the map to find the hotel. It's actually kinda fun using map to find a place ar..
Checked in hotel and explored the Sydney city. Theres also LRT there sia.. look more like sky trains. We had jap teppanyaki before shopped around the city, china town and theres a chinese big signboard written 'Si hai yi jia' and my Sis shouted 'Jia yi hai si' across the street HAHAH
Bought load of stuffs, shopped at a place look like Sg's clarke quay and ended up in a chinese restaurant which is famous for its dumplings and settled our dinner there. We both were damn tired so went back to hotel and rest. Theres some things I'd realised about Australia toilet are the taps always have both cold and hot water and the toilet bowl flush also got the half and full flush sia.
7TH DAY!
Early morning woke up for the seafood at Sdyney Fish Market. Sis wear same pattern clothing as me..-_______- People might mistook us as couple sia! The moment I step out of the hotel I dont know why I did the stupid action which was tilting head up ,twist my body and reverse back to the hotel (lets try what I did haha) ITS FREAKIN COLD! I roughly can remember how Sebas's 16degree celsuis air-con feels like and it's colder than that. Cabbed to the fish market and the first thing I noticed is that theres seafood everywhere! Like those scenes in movies, lots of people squeezing in fish market shouting their orders, people restocking fresh fishes,prawns. Bought some raw seafood like LOBSTER, ABALONE, OYSTERS~ XD. Had ice cream after the meal haha and thats probably the coldest time I'd experienced except for the skydive.
Walked back to the hotel, took some pictures along the way, da bao-ed korean instant noodle and kimchi for lunch. When its night time, we dressed up and set off for the Sydney Opera House~! Serious ar I only know the opera house out of the whole Aus before I went to Aus. The feeling was weird eh when I saw the opera house cuz always only can see it while watching Tv and now it's infront of me. Spent some time there taking pictures, walked around and headed back to hotel.
8th day
The whole of this day was spent with the guide and the rest of the tourist groups exploring the natural side of Sydney. We were drove to Blue mountains and along the way theres hills, mountains, rivers, lakes, horses and cows haha. When we arrived at the Blue mountains we cant see much cuz it's super foggy that day so Im suay lor lol. Went on to the Blue lake(its really blue trust me) and Jenolan Caves where all the limestones were kept for more than 10million years. Explored the place and caves before returning back to the hotel to collect our lagguage and rushed to the airport to catch the plane back to Brisbane. Personally I like Sydney more than Brisbane sia maybe because of the babes there :D
9th day
Its Sunday! Meaning that I gotta go church with Sis -.- So heng ar cuz they celebrate Easter on that day and I got chocolates! HOHOHO.. Before I intro myself, they already known me as Jay Chou -_____- who else could it be.. showing others my photos... But ar all of my Sis's friend chio la but too old sia.. After service we had Domino Pizza and Paul drove us to Springbrook Mountains for more sightsee-ing. The scenery there is magnificent! The waterfalls, lakes, cliffs, mountains.. I really dont mind spending the rest of my life there haha.
Had some snacks and drinks in a small Europe style cafe and when we were coming down from the mountain, we passed by this. The fresh fruits and vege is actually left there with the price stated so its up to you to pay or not to.. but if you never pay also no people know sia. We bought some vege for the soup Paul's going to prepare for us on that night.
Halfway back home, we stopped at a pie restaurant called Yatala Pie. It's very famous(heard from Sis) and it's the only franchise, they were proud to be like that and accept no franchise blah blah blah. Although I dont eat pies but the pie is really goooood~ Went to Paul house for soup, back home watching couple of dvd and thats all for the day!
10th day
One of sis's friend drove us to a place call Sunshine Coast for MORE sightsee-ing haha.. We past by mountains which had a nicknames called Gorilla Mountain and Twin Sisters. When arrived there we bought some delicious truffles and beef lasagne for myself.. Shopped up and down the street, bought some stuffs and drove back home. Met more of Sis's friends for dinner at Brisbane city. Had dinner in a restaurant in Chinatown and played few games of pool.. Lost to Sis sia~ Grrr.
11TH DAY!!!
A dream of mine came true on this day.. Yea going to tell you soon la~ be more patient! :D Shopped around Brisbane city for friends, mum and grandma stuffs. We past by the casino and a famous architecture design by a famous designer ar(Sis told me also). Its called the Wave Walk.. We had dinner in a Japanese restaurant where most food is cooked. Haha maybe ang mo seldome at raw stuffs and YEA did i mentioned theres alot of hot Japanese girls in Aus? Gosh from Surfer Paradise to Sydney and to Brisbane! Everywhere! LOL going crazy eh. After dinner we catched Step Up2.. The theatre there is free seating so if you go in early, you get good seats. The show is very cool ar, making people wanna learn to dance after watching it.
After the movie we took a 'speed boat' back to Sis's place.. The whole place is connected by a river so can easily access by the 'speed boat'. The charge is almost same as a bus ride and of course it's far more cool! The night sky there is kinda different from Sg.. The stars I see in Sg is like they are on a flat piece of sky and the stars in Aus is different. Dont know how to say ar but the stars all are very obviously forming a curve sky(Maybe Aus's at corner of the earth), showing that the earth is really round? Just when I'm concentrating on the stars, I SAW A SHOOTING STAR! In the beginning, I thought I saw the wrong thing but I over heard the ang mo aunties behind said something about shooting star so I quickly make my wish Hahaha!
12th day
Its actually the last day of this trip as I'll be going back to Sg the next day morning. Shopped ar Brisbane City again and had breakfast in a Church-like restaurant called the Pancake House. Its actually an abandoned church and the they took over the place. Had pancakes and had few games of pool there. Woohoo won Sis sia~! Haha eating delicious pancakes and playing pool in a church sounds weird eh? Bought some ingredients for that day's dinner and went back home to prepare the dinner.
Well, since I'm leaving so I prepared the dinner.. Cooked cheese baked rice for Sis and Paul and in return Paul gotta lend me his car and teach me how to drive LOL. Learn some basics like u turns,3 point turns after that heart cannot take it liao so drove back and get ready for tonight's casino~!
This is my second time going in a casino actually.. but its mt first time went in legally la haha cuz the casino there 18years old can go in already. So I tried all the table games like Blackjack, Big-small.. ended up losing 50bucks. Nice experience la haha.. NEVER GO INTO A CASINO~!!! take the 'speed boat' back and rest cuz the flight tomorrow very early ar.
13th day
First time took plane myself so kinda nervous but it's also nice experience ar.. Flown to KL and took another plane back to Sg. Lugguages were over-weight and I cant fly back to Sg if i dont do anything about it so throw all my useless stuffs ar lol.. Machum crazy guy opening lugguages big big at the airport. When arrived at Sg also no money take cab so take MRT.. As usual its damn packed~ Haha bo bian right cuz its Sg.. small but alot of people -.-
Before this trip, I felt weird sia but luckily I made it back in a piece HOHOHO Hope I can go for more holiday trips like this but this time with friends or maybe alone. I really enjoy this trip seh, and it changed my way of thinking on somethings somehow. Wanna thanks my Sis for spending so much time and MONEY for this trip man! XD
